The Decision
You would have surely noticed that we recently lowered the free credits that are obtained by users who register for the site so that they can test it properly and choose whether to spend their money in role-playing with our characters. It was very important for us to give people a chance to be able to try out with the right amount of credits for talking with multiple characters, so they could see if our service could satisfy them.
Unfortunately, due to unethical users registering with multiple accounts (and we are not talking about two or three, but dozens and dozens) in order to take advantage of our generosity in offering a lot of credits we were forced to make the decision to greatly lower what we offer for free. The situation had become untenable on a monetary level, as you know we pay for the calls to the AI ourselves and since there is no advertising to support the service, everything is kept on subscriptions.
Our Service
We want to remind you that our service is based on artificial intelligence APIs of a certain cost and that it allows role-playing in any language, everyone in the world can discuss without encountering gross errors that instead occur in other services offer free or almost free chat, but that use models that work well only in English, excluding all others.
Something new could be born
Writing this, we do not just want to justify our decision, but to inform you that we are considering creating another service by making a new website that can offer free chat.
Unfortunately, it is not technically possible to take over and redo the current website, it is much faster and more stable to create one from scratch and the aim will be to offer multiple versions of the same character, probably three: a free one that will take advantage of an artificial intelligence engine at almost no cost to us, but that will work well only in English, another paid one that will consume a few credits usable in all languages and a third, very advanced one that will consume more credits, but that will amaze you with its incredible capacity.
